How to audit using the Multiple Interface for In / Out auditing

Overview
SpeedyAudit comes with 2 interfaces: the Single Interface and the Multiple Interface.
The SpeedyAudit Mobile App is set to the Single Interface, by default. To switch to the Multiple Interface, go to the Settings menu. (instructions can be found in the article Auditors :: How to set up your audit session settings).
For one audit session, the Multiple Interface allows you to audit:
- One location
- Multiple opportunities per profession(s) at a time
- Hand Hygiene AND/OR Additional Precautions and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Notes (optional)

- SpeedyAudit Lite: users create their own locations and professions
- SpeedyAudit PRO / SpeedyAudit LTC: managers create a set list of locations and professions for the users
Getting Started
Grab your mobile device and go to the SpeedyAudit MAIN MENU.
1. How to get started with the Multiple Interface
1.1. Tap on NEW SESSION
1.2. Select the location you are going to audit, and then tap on + ADD HCP
1.3. Tap on TAP HERE TO SET PROFESSION
2. Select the type of healthcare provider (HCP) being observed, and then tap on the ARROW.
Remember that you can scroll up / down to find more professions.
To add a new healthcare provider, tap on +ADD HCP, and follow the same steps as above (1.1-1.3).
- You can add as many HCPs to the auditing session as you'd like.
- Each large healthcare provider section corresponds to the actions of a healthcare provider. Each row represents 1 opportunity.
To add a new opportunity, tap on +
You can add as many opportunities as you need.
3. How to audit hand hygiene using the Multiple Interface
Tip:
- You can audit Hand Hygiene AND/OR Additional Precautions and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
3.1. For each opportunity: indicate (1) the moment(s) (indication(s)) for hand hygiene, and (2) the hand hygiene action (WASH/RUB) or the missed action (MISSED), by tapping on the corresponding buttons
Timing
Timing is the duration of hand hygiene performed by the healthcare provider when hand hygiene occurs.
- When the hand hygiene action starts, tap on RUB or WASH, accordingly. This starts the timer.
- When the healthcare provider stops the hand hygiene action, tap on 'END WASH' or 'END RUB'. The time is recorded in seconds.
4. How to audit Additional Precautions and PPE using the multiple interface
Tip:
- You can audit Hand Hygiene AND/OR Additional Precautions and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), or
- Additional Precautions and PPE only
Indicate if any Additional Precautions are in place. Tap on the Additional Precautions icon to open the list. 1st tap checks the button, 2nd tap clears the selection. Tap on the ARROW at the top right to confirm
Indicate compliance with PPE. Tap on the PPE icon to open the list. 1st tap PPE = complied, 2nd tap PPE = missed, and 3rd tap clears the selection. Then, tap on the ARROW at the top right to confirm
5. How to add notes to your audit using the Multiple Interface
Mark jewellery: 1st tap selects it, 2nd tap clears it. Then, tap on the ARROW at the top right to confirm
Enter additional written notes. Then, tap on the ARROW at the top right to confirm
6. How to view an In-Session Report for on-the-spot feedback
To view In-Session Reports, tap on the REPORTS icon located at the top-right corner.
To return to the current audit tap on the BACK ARROW button at the top left.
7. How to end the audit session
To end the session, tap on the END SESSION button at the top left, and then tap on YES. You will be redirected to the 'Main Menu'
