How to send your data to your email inbox

Overview

The instructions below will show you how to send your data to yourself. After you are done collecting observations for the day you should email yourself the data you collected in order to prevent data loss should your mobile device crash.

 

We recommend you send your data to your email inbox as frequent as possible.

Getting started

Have your mobile device on hand and go to the MAIN MENU

1. How to send your data to your email inbox

When you send your data, SpeedyAudit emails the data you collected to your email inbox. Each observation session will be sent in separate emails. The data will appear as an attachment in the email.

1.1. To send your data, tap on MY DATA

1.2. Tap on SEND NEW DATA

  • New data will be shown in red.
  • Data that was already sent to your email inbox will be shown in black.

 

By tapping on SEND NEW DATA, you will be sending all of the unsent observation sessions (those that appear in red). This could mean one or more observation sessions.

1.4. You will notice that the observation session(s) that were sent to your email will no longer be red, it will appear in black. Tap on the HOME button to return to the Home screen.

1.5. If you would like to email yourself specific observation (auditing) sessions, then tap on the ENVELOPE ICON located next to the auditing session

2. Not receiving the email? Try some solutions below:

  1. Allow for up to 10 minutes to receive the email
  2. Check your spam or junk folder
  3. Ensure your correct email address is set up in your account
  4. Contact your IT department to ensure emails from us are not being blocked
